About WCI

Gary grew up in the Elsinore area, attending local schools for his entire grammar and high school years, and has some 36 years of experience in commercial and industrial real estate. Besides holding an MA in Geography from UCR and a Land Use Certificate from (ITC) International Institute for Aerial Surveying for Earth Sciences in Enschede, Holland; he taught Geography at San Bernardino Valley College. When 1980 Lake Elsinore flooding impacted the city, he got a U-2 imagery overflight of the disaster to document the event and used it to evaluate flood damage. This work lead to his appointment to the city planning commission where he served 8 years as such before being elected to the city council in 1988. In conjunction with this public service, he worked as the council liaison member to the Economic Development Commission, Riverside Council Transportation Commission, Multiple Habit Conservation Agency and Western Riverside Council of Governments and several other local committees. Gary served as Mayor of Lake Elsinore from 1990-96, over-seeing the development of the Lake Elsinore Outlet Center, Downtown Revitalization and Lake Management Plan, Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium, and the Warm Springs Industrial Park.

He believes in knowing the real estate market, its trends and opportunities through the use of a number of specific tools. The company subscribes to both LoopNet (Marketing Platform) and CoStar (Research and Applied Analysis in Commercial Real Estate) which provides a baseline of comparable sales (sold history) listings, traffic, demographics and other search tools to find product "For Sale" or "Lease", then applies ESRI ArcMap software with Riverside County Assessor Data to analyze the properties to find the best location to fit a client's specific needs. Real estate markets are always changing, and having local knowledge coupled with the right tools makes for better decisions.

Beyond brokerage work, Gary provides consulting assistance for clients such as 3 M Corona Plant, Rightway Company, Civic Partners, Accurate Leak Locators, Inc. and Nova Homes. Gary is a board member of the Lake Elsinore Valley Education Foundation, which provides selected students from all 4 local high schools with college scholarships.

Gary and his wife, Susan, have been married 34 years. They have 3 grown children and seven grandchildren. Gary and Susan enjoy a very active lifestyle, from fresh water fishing, Storm Baseball, and flying with their grandson to new places for lunch, to traveling, whether it be a long road trip or on a cruise to somewhere fun and exciting.
